  • If I need more than one service how should I book the appointment?
    I will be happy to accommodate all of your needs when you book an appointment with me. All of your appointments must be book separately, as each style may vary in time to complete. You can book multiple appointments in one day, but please be mindful that a deposit may be due at the time of each booking.
  • Is there a discount given if I book more than one appointment?
    No. There are not any discounts given at this moment for more than one appointment being book at one time.
  • How do I know what I need for my first appointment?
    If you are looking to completely change your look, or you are unsure and want to discuss all of your options, I recommend scheduling a consultation before your first appointment. I will help you determine the best services for your hair.
  • What should I do if I know I am going to run late?
    Please be courteous and give me a call ahead of time if you know you're going to be late. If I I have the capacity in my schedule, I may be able to accommodate your tardiness.
  • I need to cancel my appointment. What should I do?
    Contact Shonie's Braids ASAP, 24 before appointment
  • Can I book a same day appointment?
  • I paid a deposit and missed my appointment. Can I get a refund?
    Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Your deposit can be transferred to your next appointment - for the same style only. Upon booking your next appointment the deposit will be waived during final booking. Punctuality is important, please be mindful of my time as well as others I may have scheduled for that day.
  • Do you accept other types of payments besides cash?
    Yes, I actually accept: ZELLE - / 912-270-9511 CashApp - $mymadlife I do not accept checks!
  • I do not like my hair and/or I'm unsatisfied with my style. What should I do?
    If you have any problem or concern when I'm finished with your hair, I expect to be notified within 24 hours of leaving your appointment. Respectfully, NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN, as I aim to please my clients and ensure their satisfaction to the fullest!
  • Do you offer any other hair styles besides the ones in the pictures?
    Of course! Please take a look at my booking page. All of my current services are listed. If a service you would like to recieve is not listed book a consultation.
  • Do I need to bring my own hair for braids?
    YES! unless optionally inclusive in the service price. Pre-stretched hair is required for braiding services. With ALL hair inclusive services, hair color must be selected 72 prior to service.
  • Do you provide hair for your sew-in services?
    For Sew-In and Crochet services, I DO NOT provide hair. All clients are responsible for bringing hair that is in new or in great condition. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW AND UNDERSTAND YOUR HAIR COLOR NEEDS.
  • My last stylist messed up my hair and I don't like it. Can you fix it?
    I do not correct other stylists work, please be aware that you would have to remove any previous work before your appointment with me. I do offer style removal services separately.
